YellowBird Creates a Set of Interactive 3D Video Technologies

Comments

yellowbirdA startup from the Netherlands called yellowBird has developed a 360-degree video camera and some software to stitch the video output into a multidimensional scrollable video.   Piecing together a set of images to create 3D scenes has been around for a while, but this is taking the concept to the next level.  Very cool.

Check out the video below and click/move your mouse around on top of the video to pan around.

    This video makes me dizzy!!
  • I agree. The combination of the constant camera wiggle, and the mouse sensitivity of the scroll can be alarming. There should be a disclaimer "Please do not operate under the influence".
